You absolutely can! I wear mine often as a jacket. I'm not a fan of jackets in general, because you wear the same one day after day, and in the winter that's about the only thing people ever see us in! I swap in a Peyton very often instead, so I have a great look each day, but still I'm warm enough running errands. Enjoy her!
I have a lot of Peyton's! Both Faux Mohair and the Vegan Alpaca. I can wear one anywhere from XL-3XL. The leopard print is Faux Mohair and size XL. It's a tad small on me but I love the print so much I went for it. The brown is vegan Alpaca and size 3XL. Both are super comfy and keep me warm. They have really good stretch. They also have good length and nice pockets!! You can't go wrong with these!
I LOVE the Peyton as well! She is a jacket for me through all the seasons. I love her paired with absolutely everything - denim, dresses, tanks and bodysuits, etc, etc. I don't think you can have too many Peyton!!
Great staple sweater. In cold weather this sweater will keep you toasty warm. In warmer seasons you can use as a jacket. Purchased a large in animal print.
Peyton is a favorite of mine for sure. I wear her as a jacket most often, because I hate wearing the same coat day after day. They are so nice and cozy warm!
I have a navy (vegan alpaca) and it is so cozy. After several months, it has held up and still looks great. This style is great as there are different patterns and fabrications, which make for a fun additions to the wardrobe. I wear it with jeans, PJs, and when at work, too. It is definitely a wardrobe staple. IT covers the butt, so its awesome with leggings, too. Wrap yourself up in a Peyton and you will not be sorry.
I LOVE the Peyton Cardigan. I wear her most as a jacket. I am not one to wear a parka if I don't have to, and I love the Peyton for just enough warmth to run in and out of buildings! LOL!

Yes! I actually get more use from my Peyton as a jacket than anything else. They are perfect for running all the errands when the temperatures hover around the zero mark.
